I built MeetYourGuide.ai because I kept watching the same thing happen.

A friend running a small business heard about ChatGPT, tried it once, didn't get the point, and gave up. A relative kept asking me to "explain AI" but everything I recommended online was either too technical or too salesy. I'd help when I could — but I couldn't help everyone, and the people who wanted basic, friendly AI guidance had nowhere obvious to turn.

MeetYourGuide.ai is for those people. It's also for the students, freelancers, and curious experts who genuinely enjoy helping others learn — and who could use a little extra income for it.

We're starting in Cape Town, growing across South Africa, and going from there. The things we care about most: keeping the tone friendly, the platform honest about its role (we introduce people; we don't run their projects).
